ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Fipronil 9.8% (S)-Methoprene 8.8%, OTHER INGREDIENTS 81.4%
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Dog must be dry at time of application and remain dry for 24 hours. The dog should be standing for the application. Remove tube from the package. Hold tube in a vertical upright position. Cut off top of tube with scissors. Part the hair at each spot until the skin is visible. Invert tube and place the open end of the tube on the skin of the dog. Squeeze tube to expel the entire content of liquid and apply the product evenly along the dog’s back in 3 to 4 spots from the base of the skull to the base of the tail. Take care that liquid does not run off the dog. Avoid contact with treated area until dry.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not use on cats, rabbits or other animals. Do not use on puppies under 8 weeks of age and weighing less than 6 lbs. Do not allow your dog to ingest this product. Do not apply more frequently than once every 4 weeks. Do not apply more than one applicator per treatment for one dog regardless of the dog’s weight. Do not bathe or allow your dog to swim for 24 hours after application. DO NOT USE ON CATS. Keep cats away from treated dogs for 24 hours. If applied to a cat or ingested by a cat, call your veterinarian.

I needed this for my big male dog, as we live in the woods practically. We have fleas sometimes, mosquitos and ticks. So this was perfect to use on my dog. It does only have three month supply which is worth the pricing to me.
My dog Huxley usually gets prescription meds for his flea treatment. But it’s super expensive and we have to get it every 4 weeks for it to be effective. So I was looking for something that might be a cheaper option that works just as well. This TevraPet FirstAct Plus Flea and Tick Prevention for Dogs topical treatment is a great option. It’s easy to apply and as far as I know, it’s working. I will have to wait and see throughout the next few weeks if it stays effective. If so, then this will be my go to flea treatment for my doggo! 🙂
We’re having a horrible tick season in Connecticut, so it’s important to treat the dog to keep fleas and ticks away. I picked up TevraPet First Act Plus Flea and Tick Prevention for Dogs. I applied it to the dog and checked to see how well it works. No fleas or ticks on the dog. Definitely recommend.
