Tevra Brands supporting Leader Dogs for the Blind with a fund-raising campaign to help dogs help people who are blind or visually impaired partner with a Leader Dog to help them “Live a Life without Boundaries”.

May is National Pet Month. What better way to celebrate National Pet Month than by having a fundraiser for Leader Dogs for the Blind? As many of you know, the Tevra Brands family have become puppy raisers for me, Nellie. I came from Leader Dogs for the Blind and am a FUTURE LEADER DOG.

Did you know that every year 75,000 new people become blind or visually impaired in the United States? Did you also know that less than 8% of people who are blind travel with a guide dog by their side? I am hoping to help change that. Leader Dogs for the Blind provides a solution to people who are blind or visually impaired who currently do not travel independently with a cane or guide dog, and they do this at no charge.

Leader Dogs for the Blind operates solely on contributions made by corporations and donations made by individuals like you. Your donation will help make a difference in peoples’ lives and Leader Dogs for the Blind NEVER charges the dog handlers who are blind or visually impaired for their services or for canine partner. Not only do Leader Dogs help guide a person, we are also trusted companions and will change someone’s life. Will you help by donating or even sharing this on your social media for others to see?
